Indoctrination

February 18th, 2010 § 0

Some people are against religion because they argue that religion is a form of indoctrination.

I say that argument is a total utter bullshit.

No matter who you are, wherever you live, whatever your belief system is (or lack thereof), you ARE being indoctrinated. There’s no way escaping it.

The TV shows you’re watching, are indoctrinating you everyday, with values, whatever that is, whether you like it or not, whether you realize it or not. Your parents, friends, families, newspapers. The dominant will influence the inferiors.

You don’t have your own mind. We human just don’t have our own set of principles. We weren’t born with it. We learnt it from somewhere. That is a fact, and a sensible one that is.

We are what we read, what we see, and what we listen to.

Even our thought processes are not our own. It’s just basically a combination of what we experience (external), and what we think we know (by reading or seeing, again, external) , sometimes called the Stigmata.

If you’re not being indoctrinated by a heavenly belief system, then you are being indoctrinated by the human and worldly belief system.

One way or another.

We are not free even though we would like to think so.

There’s really no free will.

Only freedom of choice that’s confined to the larger predefined system.

You cannot escape it.

Now, make your pick, whether you want to get indoctrinated by a “religion” system,

or MTV.

Though shit.

Where Am I?
